Autumn Leaves

This was Gianna's first leaf pile experience.

It quickly escalated to her least favorite fall moment.

Pumpkin Carving Extravaganza

Before trick-or-treating Gianna was introduced to the art of pumpkin carving.

Can you guess her first impression?  She did not enjoy the gooey seeds!

Have no fear, nothing a little chocolate can't fix! It totally changed her mood.

What's this!?

Look mom!

After a quick smell, came her undying affection for her pumpkin.

All in all, a successful Halloween!

Halloween Edition

This will be Gianna's first Halloween where she will be able to walk around and collect some candy.

Here's hoping for a tear free trick-or-treat adventure!
HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

There are times when I look at Gianna and I can see the wheels turning in her head. Then I wonder what her next move will be. (It's been one of those days.)

Her next move was the cutest and least messiest of the day.  It began with a trip to my closet.

She decided to take a walk in some special shoes.
These were the shoes I wore to NYC when Hood proposed.

I love where God has taken our lives since then and seeing old things being made new.

Pumpkin Patch

It is so much fun to capture Gianna's moments of curiosity and excitement.  Kleather's Pumpkin Patch brings out the best in her!

After much exploration, she found HER pumpkin and she wasn't letting go.

At least not until she gets her rock candy!

Happy Autumn!

Creating Memories

I was so excited for the sunflower patch this year and capturing a new memory.
Unfortunately, Gianna did not share the same enthusiasm.
 At least it was memorable....

We were blessed to spend a wonderful week in Michigan.

Of course, she had her friend to show her the ropes.

Dad flew us to our destination.  Gianna never wanted to leave his side.

Gianna especially loved any form of water play. Even when her lips were blue.

Once again, dad was her favorite pool buddy.
